This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Evaluate service capabilities and contractor performance to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Recruit and onboard contractors based on these evaluations.
• Act as the main communication and escalation contact for contractors.
• Create and maintain a grading system for contractor performance.
• Review audits to ensure compliance with HD Supply standards and provide education to contractors on quality standards and procedures.
• Facilitate connections between contractors and the sales team, communicating service capabilities to sales representatives.
• Address contractor inquiries regarding project specifications, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations.
• Utilize QuickBase to evaluate programming needs, ensure data accuracy, and engage in discussions about platform integration strategies.
• Approve contractor licenses in QuickBase for services that are permitted.
• Examine scopes of work to verify compliance with licensing laws.
• Offer backup licensing expertise during project success calls.
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, a related field, or a BS/BA in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contractor management.
• Typically 5-8 years of experience in a related field, or a MS/MA with generally 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations pertinent to contracting and service delivery.
• Must secure state contractor certifications for organizational purposes.
• Certification may be necessary in certain areas.
• Experience in contractor recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and compliance auditing.
• Proficient in using QuickBase and ensuring data integrity.
• Understanding of licensing laws and the processes for contractor license approvals.
• Willingness to travel overnight 20% to 50% of the time.
• Capable of identifying obstacles, troubleshooting complex issues, making decisions amid uncertainty, and independently devising solutions.
