Contract Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all primary contract responsibilities under Federal Hub agreements.

• Collaborate with the Federal Hubs Program Office and stakeholders on reporting contract performance, submitting schedules, and obtaining necessary certifications.

• Act as the main liaison between the NextEra project team and the Federal Hub Owner's Representative for contract-related communication and formal correspondence.

• Maintain the matrix of contract deliverables requirements and ensure timely submission of reports, plans, and documentation.

• Analyze, interpret, and disseminate relevant contract clauses to project teams, equipment vendors, and service providers.

• Monitor and manage logs for RFIs, submittals, and correspondence.

• Lead the preparation, pricing, and negotiation of contract amendments, change orders, and equitable adjustments in collaboration with project controls and legal teams.

• Engage in schedule reviews to evaluate contractual risks and identify potential exposure related to liquidated damages and milestone commitments.

• Execute contract closeout processes, including final invoice reconciliation, lien releases, verification of demobilization, and completion of certifications and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in managing engineering and construction projects, including responsibility for budget oversight and execution.

• Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and quality management throughout project execution.

• Capability to administer and oversee prime contract obligations effectively.

• Proficient in reviewing, interpreting, and disseminating Federal Hub contract clauses.

• Experience in preparing, pricing, and negotiating contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments.

• Knowledge of assessing contractual risks, liquidated damages, and milestone obligations.

• Familiarity with conducting contract closeout activities.
