Civic and Public Administration Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop scenarios for the public sector that encompass large-scale budget allocations, coordination among multiple agencies, and intricate regulatory or legislative review processes.

• Create civic initiatives across public policy analysis, delivery of constituent services, intergovernmental relations, public communications, and compliance with regulations.

• Formulate public administration scenarios that involve government ERP/case management systems, public records platforms, GIS technologies, and tools for managing constituent relationships.

• Implement public administration frameworks that include policy impact assessments, cost-benefit analyses, administrative rule-making, and models for stakeholder engagement.

• Generate reference policy briefs, strategies for agencies, and communications for executives and legislators.

• Write rubrics that differentiate between genuine public-sector judgment and generic bureaucratic or textbook recall.

• Create evaluation tasks for AI systems functioning within extensive government and public-sector environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a senior role within a federal, state, or large municipal government agency, or in a significant public policy, civic tech, or intergovernmental organization.

• Direct responsibility for agency programs, public policy initiatives, or large-scale constituent-facing service delivery.

• Proficient understanding of government processes and tools.

• Knowledge of public budgets, procurement, legislative review, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in authoring rubrics, public-sector training curricula, or policy documents is an advantage.

• Must be an independent contractor.
