This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire contract administration lifecycle for solar construction initiatives.
• Manage Contracts
• Create a list of contract notification requirements. Dispatch and monitor notifications.
• Identify and monitor contractor monthly or periodic submissions (project reports, schedules, etc.).
• Prepare and oversee the list of contract milestones and closeout submissions.
• Administer and finalize Builders Risk Insurance (BRI) as necessary.
• Handle all required bonds (P&P, driveway, etc.) as necessary.
• Monitor land lease obligations.
• Track requirements for the Interconnection Agreement (IA).
• Monitor insurance expiration dates for both Owner and Contractor.
• Keep track of permit requirements and their expiration dates (Conditional Use Permit, Building Permits, etc.).
• Monitor expiration dates for ESA Phase 1.
• Accounts Payable
• Generate Purchase Orders for vendors, contractors, and supplies.
• Review invoices from vendors and subcontractors.
• Confirm accounting codes.
• Ensure all necessary documentation and lien waivers are submitted.
• Verify that conditional and unconditional lien releases are provided prior to payment disbursement.
• Confirm that the invoice aligns with the PO or Pay Application.
• Validate that the equipment or service was delivered (inspection reports, etc.).
• Code and submit to the Approver within the AP Software.
• Monitor and communicate project AP with vendors and contractors.
• Finance
• Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of finance documents, including:
• Requirements for construction loan and tax equity closing.
• Monthly draw requirements for construction loan and tax equity.
• Project status updates.
• Compliance
• Administer and track the Project Compliance matrix and deliverables for:
• Prevailing Wage.
• Apprenticeship.
• Domestic Content.
• Other compliance program requirements.
• Ensure submission of wage determinations.
• Document Management
• Organize and manage project documentation, including revision control using the PX Platform.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a General Contractor, EPC firm, or IPP, preferably in commercial or industrial solar or battery storage construction.
• Proven track record of successful renewable energy project construction outcomes.
• Familiarity with the solar sector.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to be self-driven and collaborate within a team focused on achieving the goals and objectives that signify project success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to make informed judgments that appropriately balance risks with business goals.
• A desire for continuous learning and improvement, driven by intellectual curiosity.
• Self-starter with a robust work ethic, adept at managing multiple competing priorities.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to manage several projects concurrently.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements pertinent to solar energy projects.
