Content Writer – VCE English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Create captivating educational materials, including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.

• Transform curriculum documents into clear and actionable course and lesson plans that enhance teacher effectiveness and promote student success.

• Utilize your VCE English expertise to simplify complex syllabus topics, producing content that is understandable and tailored to student needs.

• Stay informed about subject matter and evidence-based teaching strategies to maintain your expertise.

• Adhere to a comprehensive style guide to ensure content consistency and appropriateness for our audience.

• Manage multiple projects efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and other stakeholders to create accurate, engaging, and brand-aligned content.

• Contribute ideas and enhance our processes through feedback, workshops, and team discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth understanding of secondary school English, with required VCE experience.

• Strong ability to deliver content that effectively supports student learning.

• Exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of making complex ideas easily comprehensible.

• A genuine passion for education and instructional design.

• Comfortable collaborating with others and articulating your thoughts clearly.

• Proficient in using project management tools, or willing to learn.

• Proven success in VCE English, whether as a teacher or student.

• Teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous.

• An interest in learning design is beneficial, but training will be provided for those new to the field.
