This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverage your classroom experience
• Integrate classroom expertise, effective pedagogical practices, and a thorough understanding of math instructional materials into daily activities for content area instruction in collaboration with colleagues, educators, and leadership
• Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of Carnegie Learning products and solutions, along with their positioning in the marketplace
• Stay updated on current industry trends; proactively discover learning opportunities; assimilate and implement new concepts to enhance performance; disseminate information to others
• Partner strategically within a designated region to boost math sales
• Assist in prospecting initiatives in conjunction with local sales teams
• Deliver targeted presentations of Carnegie Learning math products to state and local review committees for adoptions and pilot programs
• Travel to adoption presentations to facilitate closing business deals
• Utilize consultative selling and active listening skills to secure business opportunities and align product offerings with client requirements
• Offer exceptional customer service by fostering relationships, addressing issues, devising solutions, and making recommendations to management and editorial teams
• Enhance sales and customer satisfaction by curating materials, presentations, handouts, standards correlations, and more
• Collaborate with the product team on special projects and ongoing initiatives
• Engage in pre-work and market research for new instructional solutions as necessary
• Maintain awareness of competitors in the content area(s), adjusting messaging based on their strengths and weaknesses
• Assist the Vice President in evaluating the effectiveness of sales activities, strategies, and tools
• Provide precise and comprehensive information regarding content and educational trends that influence revenue
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics education
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in mathematics is essential
• Experience in school administration is a plus
• Familiarity with Carnegie Learning products is preferred
• Previous sales experience is advantageous
• Flexible schedule and readiness to travel on short notice, particularly during the academic year
• Proximity to a major airport within an hour
• Fundamental understanding of school and district infrastructures, including technology environments and management systems; stays abreast of current trends
• A learning-oriented mindset; capable of executing a wide range of tasks and quickly shifting focus as demands evolve; efficiently manage transitions between tasks; adapt to diverse customer needs
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe & other design software, Google Suite
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
