This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Transform strategic content visions into refined, platform-specific creative solutions for clients.
• Collaborate closely with Social Media Managers and creative teams throughout Later Social to capture, produce, and edit engaging content.
• Take charge of the entire production and post-production process, converting creative briefs into content that resonates authentically with each platform.
• Generate innovative, social-first content ideas influenced by platform trends, creator behaviors, and emerging formats.
• Implement social-first content strategies across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and new and upcoming platforms.
• Manage post-production from initial raw footage to final product delivery.
• Keep up-to-date with social trends, creators, editing techniques, and best practices across platforms.
• 2-4 years of experience in content production, video production, or social content creation, accompanied by a portfolio that highlights your work.
• Proficient in capturing photo and video content using iPhone, DSLR, or mirrorless cameras.
• Advanced skills in editing short-form content with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
• Experience in creating motion graphics, text animations, and polished social-first edits.
• Strong comprehension of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and the continuously evolving best practices of social platforms.
• Capability to understand creative direction while providing insightful ideas that enhance execution.
• Experience in managing post-production workflows, organizing files, and delivering creative assets.
• Background in agency or production environments is a plus, though not mandatory.
