Content Operations QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality checks on ocean freight contracts, rates, and surcharges populated by our partners and AI, meticulously verifying each entry against source rate sheets and tariffs.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of ocean rates and surcharges, enabling you to quickly identify discrepancies.

• Identify and rectify errors *before* they impact our customers, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data.

• Clearly communicate with our vendor partners when corrections are necessary, and ensure that the same mistakes do not happen again.

• Recognize recurring error patterns and contribute to the enhancement of our QA checks, guidelines, and documentation.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite and refine the QA process, and ideally assist in their development.

• Maintain organized, high-quality master data across the ocean content set.

• Outstanding attention to detail, which is crucial for this role.

• Proficient in written and spoken English, as you will engage with international vendor partners daily.

• A proactive attitude to work independently and take ownership of your tasks as you gain experience.

• Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets, along with a genuine passion for working with structured data.

• Ability to thrive in high-volume, structured workflows where precision is essential.

• *Bonus:* experience in ocean or air freight, logistics, or shipping (e.g., freight forwarder, NVOCC, carrier operations). While advantageous, it is not mandatory.

• *Bonus:* practical experience using AI tools to accomplish tasks, particularly if you have developed something with them.

• *Bonus:* familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk) and documentation tools.
