Content Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct keyword analysis to uncover content opportunities for clients.

• Create in-depth articles on various subjects with minimal oversight.

• Exhibit the ability to modify tone and complexity of writing to engage the appropriate audience, while adhering to relevant style guidelines.

• Show capability in implementing feedback from editors, clients, and team members.

• Demonstrate an understanding of the project lifecycle and collaborate effectively across departments.

• Achieve client SEO traffic objectives consistently by producing content that ranks well and/or generates passive links.

• Utilize GEO best practices to enhance client content visibility to LLMs.

• Employ AI tools to enhance productivity throughout the content workflow, maintaining Siege's editorial quality standards.

• Assist in piloting and assessing new AI tools and workflows for the team, sharing prompts, templates, and best practices that can be scaled agency-wide.

• Support project management activities, including content scheduling and reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a content marketer (preferably published on reputable news websites or industry blogs).

• Proficient knowledge of SEO/GEO tools and their application in enhancing client websites.

• Familiarity with leading LLMs and AI writing tools, including responsible usage that complements human writing and judgment.

• Proven experience in adopting AI tools to boost productivity and automation across the content workflow.

• Goal-oriented, with the capacity to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships in a remote setting.

• Strong project management abilities, capable of juggling multiple projects while maintaining effectiveness.
