This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging, informative, and entertaining short and long-form social videos for the Curiously & Hear Me Out audiences.

• Utilize a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat, along with current digital media trends.

• Create and propose story concepts, conduct research, and script vertical video content specifically designed for different platforms.

• Travel as needed for key events and video interview opportunities for news coverage and formats.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in social video production (short & long form), ideally with an editorial background.

• Creative and passionate individual, capable of producing compelling and shareable stories through video.

• Ability to infuse personality into content and achieve the appropriate tone when necessary.

• Experience in filming, editing, and producing engaging social video content tailored for specific platforms.

• Comfortable working both in front of and behind the camera.

• Proficient video editor with experience using software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.

• A qualification in Journalism (NCTJ) and knowledge of Media Law is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
