Consulting Architect – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan, lead, and manage Elastic consulting engagements (both remote and on-site) to enhance customer value derived from Elastic products.

• Design, implement, and configure Elastic solutions with a focus on platform architecture, solution design, and capacity planning in mission-critical settings.

• Foster robust relationships as a customer advocate, ensuring superior communication and collaboration.

• Create and deliver demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that highlight the benefits of the Elastic Stack.

• Execute data modeling, query development, optimization, and cluster tuning for high-performance search and analytics that scale effectively.

• Collaborate with fellow consultants to address intricate technical challenges in a team-oriented setting.

• Review and endorse technical consulting reports that clearly outline project results and recommendations.

• Mentor and guide consultants through enablement programs, shadowing, and continuous training.

• Engage in technical interviews to evaluate and onboard new consultants.

• Operate efficiently within a remote, highly distributed team environment, with occasional on-site engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active clearance is not mandatory, but it is an advantage.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a consultant or technical instructor in client-facing roles.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with customers to gather requirements, plan, and deliver technical solutions that align with business objectives.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer/Administrator, Network Engineer/Administrator, Cloud Engineer/Administrator, or a comparable position.

• Expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions using Elasticsearch or similar distributed data technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, including command-line interfaces.

• Familiarity with information retrieval and analytics fields.

• Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTel).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby).

• Experience with databases, including SQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB, or analogous NoSQL technologies.

• Capability to swiftly learn and adapt to new Elastic technologies.

• Knowledge of SIEM, Visualizations, Dashboards, ES|QL, KQL, and SQL.
