Consultant – Technical Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in project planning and execution by developing and managing detailed task-level work plans, which include daily updates on task progress, effort estimates, start and end dates, and dependencies.

• Guarantee the successful execution of projects on time and within budget by regularly monitoring resource allocation to ensure budget alignment, reallocating funds as necessary to efficiently meet stakeholder requirements.

• Facilitate all project meetings, guiding clients through Statements of Work and project plans; aid in crafting precise and comprehensive weekly summaries.

• Offer insights to leadership regarding project scope and any potential changes to that scope.

• Ensure that your contributions consistently align with the overall project timeline.

• Engage in continuous process improvement by identifying modifications to standard processes that promote reusability and enhanced efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• At least one year of Project Management experience, ideally in a business software, consulting, or professional services context; experience in budget oversight or finance roles is preferred.

• Proficient in creating and utilizing GANTT charts that include task-level dependencies.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and knowledge of technology product life-cycles.

• Experience with Salesforce is desired.

• Excellent communication skills, client management experience, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients to develop and manage an implementation plan, preferably on the Salesforce platform.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to take ownership and drive the project schedule from inception to completion.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & SharePoint) and experienced with an enterprise-level project management tool.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 5% if required.
