Consultant – Technical Documentation, Proposal Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze relevant background materials such as technical guidance, program documents, strategy notes, concept notes, implementation resources, landscape analyses, and other documents pertinent to TB programming in India.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the proposed opportunity, its aims, the context of implementation, and its alignment with both national and subnational TB priorities.

• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate program design contributions, implementation strategies, operational plans, and evidence from current or previous TB-related initiatives.

• Take the lead in drafting a concept note that outlines PATH’s technical approach, implementation capabilities, partnership strategies, and value proposition in TB programming.

• Engage in technical discussions, review calls, and consultations with internal teams and external stakeholders as necessary.

• Modify drafts in response to feedback from technical reviewers, project teams, and leadership.

• Execute any additional documentation or proposal-support tasks assigned by the designated technical/project lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MBBS degree coupled with a Master's degree or higher in Public Health or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in tuberculosis, public health, health systems strengthening, or related development-sector programs.

• Proven expertise in technical writing, proposal development, strategic planning, policy and guideline development, and knowledge management.

• A solid understanding of NTEP, TB prevention and care, drug-resistant TB, and the implementation of public health programs.

• Experience collaborating with government entities, donors, and implementing partners in India and/or international contexts.

• Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capability to synthesize intricate technical information into high-quality deliverables.
