Consultant Psychiatrist – CYP Service, Self-Employed Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct specialized psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, and management for Children and Young People experiencing a variety of mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions.

• Uphold high standards of patient-centered care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a medical degree and a postgraduate qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent).

• Hold full GMC registration with a license to practice.

• Have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Pediatrics.

• Accumulate a minimum of two years’ post-CCT experience in CAMHS and/or community neurodevelopmental pathways.

• Demonstrate experience working autonomously within multidisciplinary clinical services.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of clinical governance frameworks and regulatory standards in mental health services.

• Apply high-level clinical judgment and decision-making skills across complex presentations related to Children and Young People.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of CYP mental health conditions, including ADHD and ASD.

• Show the ability to adapt to digital-first and remote clinical service delivery methods.
