Consultant, Ansible – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Support the execution of Red Hat Consulting projects for both internal and external clients.

• Act as a subject matter expert at client locations, addressing various technical, developmental, or strategic IT requirements.

• Continuously explore new technologies and integrate these insights to meet customer demands.

• Deliver high-quality outcomes while offering support across multiple projects in diverse industries.

• Oversee problem identification, system architecture design, and software specifications.

• Create written project documentation for dissemination within Red Hat and to the client management team.

• Adapt to evolving customer needs and requirements.

• Represent the company as an ambassador between Red Hat and its clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the ASEAN region.

• Background in a consulting or a related position.

• Experience with enterprise-level deployments.

• Advanced proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

• Familiarity with Ansible, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Satellite.

• Understanding of authentication services such as IDM/IPA.

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies.

• Practical understanding of Linux security practices and tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team to resolve issues.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or a commitment to obtain certification within 90 days.
