Consultant Psychiatrist – CYP Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct specialized psychiatric evaluations, diagnostics, treatment, and management for Children and Young People.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Implement evidence-based interventions and provide support to patients.

• Contribute significantly to the enhancement of CYP services through the Right to Choose initiative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical degree accompanied by a postgraduate qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent).

• Full GMC registration with the authority to practice.

• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Paediatrics.

• At least two years of post-CCT experience in CAMHS and/or community neurodevelopmental pathways.

• Proven ability to work independently within multidisciplinary clinical services.

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical governance frameworks and regulatory standards in mental health services.

• Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills for complex CYP cases.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for CYP mental health disorders, including ADHD and ASD.

• Capability to adjust to digital-first and remote clinical service delivery methods.
