This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist academic medical centers and healthcare systems nationwide by managing consulting engagements that uncover opportunities for cost savings in indirect spending, revenue growth, and operational enhancements.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional client and internal teams.
• Utilize project management methodologies to ensure the success of engagements.
• Track project performance consistently.
• Play a vital role in delivering high-quality consulting services that enable clients to meet their strategic and financial goals.
• Keep internal and external project trackers updated, including metrics, timelines, and financial information.
• Create presentations that leverage quantitative, qualitative, and other relevant data to convey project progress, findings, and future outlooks to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Aid in consulting engagements through research, presentation development, meeting preparation, status reporting, issue tracking, and project budget management.
• Facilitate communication among sales, advisory leads, project teams, and clients to ensure effective engagement execution and timely project completion.
• Oversee project milestones, deliverables, and action items to help maintain projects on schedule and within scope.
• Examine project data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities that support client recommendations and operational enhancements.
• Arrange project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and client stakeholders to enable project activities and meet engagement goals.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by identifying ways to enhance project management processes and tools.
• Preferred relevant degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Preferred understanding of healthcare operations, supply chain, and indirect spend management.
• Preferred experience in supporting consulting or project management engagements.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Kantata (formerly Mavenlink) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the capacity to engage clients at all organizational levels.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel regularly and efficiently throughout the year to accommodate clients’ needs and schedules.
