Consultant – Financial Services Solicitor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to businesses on a diverse array of regulatory issues related to financial services

• Assist clients in maneuvering through intricate regulatory landscapes while fostering commercial expansion and innovation

• Work in partnership with founders, executive teams, in-house legal counsel, and compliance departments

• Offer advice on topics such as investment advisory, fund structures, insurance distribution, and regulations concerning payment services

• Aid clients in obtaining Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorizations and establishing regulatory compliance frameworks

• Collaborate with team members across Corporate, Commercial, Data Protection, and Technology divisions

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) with significant expertise in financial services regulation

• Extensive familiarity with UK-regulated financial services operations

• Experience working with fintech or technology-driven financial services companies would be a plus

• Ability to autonomously manage matters and provide practical, commercially-oriented advice

• Exceptional skills in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement

• Confidence in collaborating with founders, senior leadership teams, and in-house legal and compliance teams

• A keen interest in contributing to the development or expansion of a Financial Services team, with relevant experience being beneficial
