This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of assessors in the role of a federal compliance specialist.
• Prepare audit observations that fulfill regulatory objectives.
• Facilitate interviews and inquiry walkthroughs with clients.
• Evaluate security vulnerabilities in relation to security frameworks.
• Review assessment reports to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Keep up-to-date with industry-specific certifications and knowledge.
• Work together with project managers and team members responsible for delivery.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in the IT sector.
• A bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) in IT or business, or a suitable combination of education and professional experience.
• Technical and detailed comprehension of NIST 800-53 Rev 5 control families.
• Capability to lead testing sessions for designated controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Strong personal initiative to effectively manage time and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding consulting abilities.
• Must possess one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CCNA Cyber Ops, CySA+, GCIH, GSNA, GCIA, CISA, CISSP, CSSLP, CISSO, CFR, CASP+, Cloud+, GICSP, SCYBER.
