This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more states.
• Oversee, direct, and ensure the quality of evidence synthesis and analytical tasks and projects, including indirect treatment comparison, network meta-analysis, and survival/statistical analyses.
• Offer strategic and technical guidance to clients and internally by utilizing cutting-edge evidence synthesis methods.
• Assist in the preparation of HTA submissions.
• Create study designs and analytical plans to address research inquiries.
• Direct qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, literature reviews, statistical analyses, and produce client-ready reports.
• Establish outlines and formats for deliverable documents.
• Aid project activities, complete internal documentation, and perform quality checks on others’ work.
• Examine research challenges and integrate scientific tasks to fulfill overall scientific objectives.
• Formulate scientific recommendations and recognize methods that may not align with client goals.
• Keep up-to-date with current subject-matter knowledge and best practices.
• Manage workload in accordance with project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies, clients, and associated institutions.
• Draft or lead proposals based on client concepts or RFPs, and adjust them based on client feedback.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and spearhead smaller BD opportunities.
• Lead project teams, identify staff resources, present scopes of work, and offer direction and feedback.
• Oversee projects within internal timelines and budgets.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, potentially providing formal line management.
• Adhere to relevant SOPs, work programming, time-keeping, iLearns, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in systematic reviews and/or evidence synthesis.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art evidence synthesis methods, including deterministic and Bayesian network meta-analyses.
• Proficiency in statistical software for evidence synthesis, such as WinBugs/OpenBugs and R.
• Understanding of the function of evidence synthesis within HTA processes.
• Capability to develop study designs and analytical plans.
• Competence in leading qualitative and/or quantitative analysis plans, including network meta-analysis, literature reviews, and statistical analyses.
• Ability to produce reports suitable for client submission.
• Proficiency in providing scientific recommendations and technical expertise.
• Skill in managing projects in alignment with timelines and budgets.
• Capability to lead project teams and assist in business development efforts.
• Ability to mentor and coach junior staff, with potential for formal line management responsibilities.
