Consultant Dermatologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized virtual care to patients within your area of expertise.

• Assess and prioritize incoming referrals.

• Offer advice and support to GPs, while requesting and monitoring investigations, and composing onward referrals to hospital departments as needed.

• Suggest patients for telephone clerking assessments conducted by registrars and advanced nurse practitioners.

• Follow up on investigation results with patients, GPs, and hospital departments.

• Develop a thorough and effective clinical management plan, including prescribing medications.

• Record patient information and care plans through Medefer’s Secure IT platform.

• Fill out patient outcome data fields for tracking and feedback purposes to NHS England.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Dermatologist Consultant with significant NHS experience.

• Registered with the GMC and holding an active license to practice.

• Listed on the Specialist Register and able to present current documentation in line with clinical competence standards.

• A keen interest in digital health, clinical informatics, and innovative working methods.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong time management, planning, and prioritization abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to process intricate information effectively, consistently, and accurately.
