Consultant – DC Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance comprehensive supply chain solutions, focusing on distribution center layout, automation, third-party logistics (3PL), and procurement.

• Evaluate and optimize warehousing, fulfillment, and logistics processes to improve efficiency, lower costs, and facilitate future expansion.

• Leverage data-driven insights to guide facility design, operational enhancements, and long-term strategic planning.

• Execute impactful consultancy projects, ensuring that commercial and strategic goals are successfully achieved.

• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to uphold timelines, deliverables, and significant project results.

• Work alongside internal teams to address intricate supply chain and operational challenges.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and client presentations for supply chain transformation initiatives.

• Contribute to industry insights, internal tools, and the ongoing refinement of TMX methodologies.

• Recognize opportunities to deliver additional value within current client relationships.

• Mentor and support junior team members while fostering a high-performance team culture.

• Participate in the expansion and development of the wider consulting team.

• Advocate for company values and promote a collaborative team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the supply chain sector, including consulting, 3PL settings, automation solution implementation, or within client-side supply chain operations.

• Extensive technical knowledge in distribution center design, warehousing, automation, 3PL, and procurement.

• Demonstrated success in supporting and executing complex supply chain projects.

• Strong comprehension of distribution center operations and the capability to translate operational needs into actionable design and delivery solutions.

• Experience in project delivery roles rather than solely in business development, product, or sales positions.

• Proven ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at client, business, industry, and leadership levels to ensure favorable project outcomes.
