Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and consultations for emergency department and inpatient teams.

• Provide consultative psychiatric care remotely across various hospital systems.

• Assist in inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room environments.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to enhance access to behavioral healthcare.

• Deliver care to patients of all ages.

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners.

• Commit to working 13–16 shifts per month, including 3–4 weekend shifts.

• Operate across multiple health systems with diverse acuity levels.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives.

• Utilize advanced tools, including AI-supported systems, to enhance workflows and optimize patient care.

• Concentrate on patient care while Iris manages licensing, credentialing, IT, onboarding, and administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Georgia medical license is mandatory.

• Board Certification is essential.

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency is required.

• At least 2 years of post-residency experience in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry providing telehealth consultations.

• Experience in offering psychiatric consultations for inpatient, emergency department, and emergency room settings.

• Telehealth experience is a necessity.

• Must be willing to supervise Nurse Practitioners.

• Comfortable working across various health systems and levels of acuity.

• Must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.

• Experience treating patients aged 5 and older is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epic is strongly preferred.
