This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee multiple capital improvement initiatives concurrently across various manufactured housing communities throughout the country
• Manage every stage: scoping, budgeting, contractor coordination, procurement, and handoff to operations
• Advocate for safety and efficiency while ensuring compliance with Havenpark's quality benchmarks
• Facilitate effective project kickoffs, pre-construction meetings, progress assessments, and post-project reviews
• Lead competitive sourcing processes and confidently drive vendor selection
• Critically evaluate bids, scopes, and specifications for accuracy and value
• Strategically negotiate pricing and pinpoint opportunities for value engineering
• Build strong vendor relationships while ensuring partners meet quality and performance expectations
• Maintain full adherence to insurance, onboarding, and regulatory standards
• Oversee project budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders with attention to detail
• Monitor spending trends and predict variances proactively
• Collaborate with leadership and operations to prioritize significant capital investments
• Identify cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality or the integrity of the scope
• Act as the central link connecting Capital Projects, Operations, Vendors, and Leadership
• Provide clear and consistent updates on project status, documentation, and risk escalations
• Coordinate considerate resident communications to minimize disruption during construction
• Work closely with Community Managers, Regional Leadership, Asset Management, Procurement, and Utility teams
• Maintain detailed project records, schedules, photo documentation, and reports
• Utilize internal systems, sourcing platforms, and project tracking tools effectively
• Assist in capital spend reporting, project progress metrics, and completion analytics
• Contribute to annual capital planning and long-term project forecasting efforts
• Minimum of 3 years in project management, construction management, capital projects, or related areas
• Outstanding ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting without overlooking details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of simplifying complex concepts
• Familiarity with reading proposals, scopes of work, and construction documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and project tracking software
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to support field projects
• Experience in multi-site property, facilities, construction, or infrastructure project management (preferred)
• Expertise in capital expenditure budgeting and forecasting (preferred)
• Background in manufactured housing, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial property operations (preferred)
• Experience with procurement/project management platforms (such as Coupa, ManageAmerica, or similar) (preferred)
