This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Oversee and manage extensive portfolios of EV charging initiatives from the initial site evaluation to the commissioning phase.
• Supervise design and engineering, utility coordination, permitting, site construction, and utility construction stages.
• Assist in the creation of site plans and engage in discussions with site hosts.
• Propel project performance with an emphasis on adhering to schedules, controlling budgets, ensuring quality, and identifying risks.
• Keep precise project schedules and forecasts.
• Manage project documentation and oversee drawing reviews.
• Analyze project costs and review change orders.
• Carry out site visits throughout the site development process.
• Coordinate the performance of vendors, subcontractors, internal teams, site hosts, public utilities, and permitting authorities.
• Lead government and incentive-driven projects.
• Support process enhancements and campaign activities to address issues, optimize performance, and elevate customer satisfaction.
• A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing EV infrastructure projects.
• Experience in leading preconstruction and construction management activities.
• Strong background in project scheduling, cost evaluation, and resource management.
• Familiarity with managing utility and permitting processes.
• Capability to organize and monitor large project portfolios.
• Proficiency in managing substantial groups of vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage project budgets and perform data analysis.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Expertise in ensuring accuracy in project documentation and schedules.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency while working independently.
• An innovative and curious mindset.
• Desired certification in Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
• Desired Project Management Professional certification (CAPM or PMP).
• Experience with project management and scheduling software is preferred.
• Desired experience in vendor and general contractor management.
• Familiarity with government contracting requirements is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.
