Construction Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and lead the administrative and technical management of construction projects aimed at delivering energy savings for government clients.

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Construction Team in the design and development of projects.

• Ensure that engineering, pre-construction, and construction teams work in coordination with vendors and subcontractors.

• Provide regular updates on project status to senior management throughout the development and construction phases.

• Assess technologies and equipment; suggest the most appropriate options for each application.

• Direct the implementation of site safety and health programs, quality control initiatives, operation and maintenance manuals, and training activities.

• Manage project teams and resources, including budget oversight and job cost accounting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and relevant work experience.

• At least seven (7) years of experience in construction management, with a minimum of five (5) years on federal projects or complex facility infrastructure construction.

• Knowledge of various energy efficiency disciplines, including direct digital energy control systems, variable frequency drives, high-efficiency motors, lighting retrofits, renewable energy technologies, and warranty and service requirements.

• Demonstrated experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, as well as engineering and project management regulations.

• Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Project.

• A valid Driver’s License in good standing, issued by the resident state.
