Construction Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Accountable for creating comprehensive proposals, project estimates, scopes of work, and equipment recommendations.

• Enhance project scope, pricing, and specifications to ensure successful project delivery.

• This position involves project analysis, estimation, take-offs, bid preparation, vendor and subcontractor management, risk assessment, and extensive communication.

• Collaborates closely with contractors, architects, engineers, property managers, and building owners to devise compliant access solutions for both new construction and retrofit projects.

• Aids the business development and sales team in identifying new customers, broadening existing customer relationships, and fulfilling current customer requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of estimator experience is required; experience in suspended access or the construction industry is highly preferred.

• Technical knowledge of suspended scaffolding, façade access systems, and permanent building access solutions is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with general contractors, architects, engineers, building owners, and property management firms.

• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and analyzing blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess project opportunities and sales data.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
