Conseiller – Bâtiment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Individual responsible for the execution of construction, renovation, conservation, maintenance, and facility and equipment development projects.

• Engages with internal clients to thoroughly understand the project objectives.

• Organizes all activities related to project execution, including concept definition, preparation of plans and specifications, tendering, and oversight of the work.

• Coordinates the activities of professionals and contractors while managing the administrative and financial control of assigned projects.

• Participates in various phases of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects in collaboration with all stakeholders, adhering to best practices in project management.

• Involved in the project prioritization process and strategic planning of technical services.

• Implements continuous improvement projects and optimizes work processes to enhance the efficiency of the management.

• Provides technical support to other departments within technical services in their activities.

• Conducts inspections, surveys, inventories, and field audits.

• Acts as the technical representative of the organization on various committees and working groups.

• Collaborates in the drafting of opportunity documents, business cases, clinical plans, and functional and technical programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Holds a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.

• Must be a member in good standing of the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

• Relevant experience in construction project management in a similar field is an asset.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.

• Knowledge of procedures and processes related to project execution within the health and social services network is an asset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
