Conjugate Heat Transfer Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize computational tools to conduct thermal and/or CFD analysis for components of gas turbines and turbomachinery.

• Spearhead the development of geometry and mesh for analysis models.

• Perform post-processing and prepare high-quality presentations of the results.

• Prepare and deliver reports on findings during formal technical reviews.

• Create, support, and maintain models for secondary airflow systems and entire engine models.

• Assist in the verification and validation efforts for test and fielded hardware.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT), CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, and Secondary Airflow Systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Prior exposure to gas turbines is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or CFX is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of scripting tools such as APDL or Python.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.

• Capability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
