Configuration Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with configuration management procedures, ensuring system baselines are maintained and changes across environments are tracked.

• Guarantee that all technical configurations are accurately documented and managed.

• Oversee configuration items, aiding in release and deployment efforts.

• Contribute to maintaining system stability, operational consistency, and adherence to project specifications.

• Monitor compliance with configuration standards and detect unauthorized or unapproved modifications.

• Work collaboratively with infrastructure, development, cybersecurity, and project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Configuration Management, IT Operations, Systems Administration, or similar positions.

• Proficient in using configuration management tools, repositories, or ticketing systems.

• Understanding of change management and IT service management (ITSM) processes.

• Experience in both Windows and/or Linux environments.

• Knowledgeable in version control, system lifecycle management, and deployment methodologies.

• Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Git, SCCM, or equivalent platforms.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
