Computer Vision, Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, refine, and enhance computer vision and object detection models utilizing video and image datasets.

• Assist in the deployment of ML models in production or near-production settings.

• Examine and process extensive visual datasets, encompassing annotation workflows and video sample preparation.

• Create new models and modify pre-trained models to support operational and safety-oriented applications.

• Assess technical feasibility and prioritize AI/ML use cases based on business timelines and delivery objectives.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Infrastructure, Operations, AI Engineering, and business teams, to transform operational needs into technical solutions.

• Aid in the development of real-time detection and alert systems using camera-based technologies.

• Facilitate rapid prototyping and MVP delivery in dynamic environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Solid hands-on experience with Computer Vision and Object Detection frameworks such as YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.

• Experience in training, fine-tuning, validating, and deploying Machine Learning models.

• Background in working with image and video data pipelines.

• Knowledge of annotation tools, labeling workflows, and visual dataset management.

• Experience with cloud-based Machine Learning infrastructure, preferably in Azure environments.

• Strong grasp of ML engineering best practices and scalable deployment methods.

• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
