Computer Vision Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the lifecycle of our image and video datasets, focusing on taxonomy, curation, collection workflows, and quality to ensure our models are trained on clean, well-structured, and error-free data.

• Design and sustain data pipelines that facilitate the movement, transformation, versioning, and synchronization of our datasets (e.g. DVC, annotation platforms, cloud storage).

• Develop internal tools and software to expedite and enhance the reliability of dataset creation, labeling, and curation for the Machine Learning and labeling teams.

• Collaborate closely with our labeling team to guarantee that data is meticulously curated, consistently annotated, and devoid of errors.

• Enhance methodologies for collecting and prioritizing training data over time, incorporating model-assisted and active-learning strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Machine Learning.

• At least 2 years of experience in developing software applications or internal tools, with robust proficiency in Python.

• Over 2 years of experience dealing with image or video datasets.

• Practical experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT, workflow orchestration, data versioning).

• Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with structured data.

• Fluent in English, as you will be collaborating with a US-based team (B2 level or higher).
