This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess, inspect, diagnose, and document both internal and external composite damage.
• Capture photographs and compile documentation as necessary.
• Conduct coating and structural repairs on internal and external composite structures.
• Modify and repair fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin, and other composite materials.
• Collaborate with site leadership to fulfill all contractual obligations and activities.
• Execute Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures as needed.
• Interpret engineering drawings and lamination schedules effectively.
• Work in coordination with the engineering support team for non-standard repairs.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with composite materials in any industry.
• Demonstrated technical and leadership skills within a team environment.
• Experience supervising composite blade damage assessments.
• Knowledgeable in lightning damage tip, carbon blade tip, and multi-shell tip replacements.
• Proficient in internal and external adhesive bonding practices.
• Skilled in repairing leading edge (LE) and trailing edge (TE) cracks.
• Familiarity with mix ratios for all composite repair chemicals.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematic drawings.
