Compliance Specialist II

📋 Description

• Ensure that international trade operations adhere to intricate regulatory standards.

• Promote trade compliance excellence through the execution of policies, monitoring of transactions, and enhancements of processes.

• Oversee daily export functions, including classification, screening, licensing, and documentation.

• Offer guidance and support to internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, or a related field.

• Preferred additional relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist).

• In-depth knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and trade agreements.

• Skilled in HTS and ECCN classification along with licensing requirements.

• Proficient with trade compliance systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Experience with global trade management software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience in conducting compliance audits and implementing corrective measures.

• Willingness to travel up to 10-15% as required.
