Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee project financials, including tracking revenue and gross profit, reconciling costs, and updating internal systems.

• Prepare and audit intricate client invoices to ensure precision and compliance with agreements, facilitating positive cash flow for projects.

• Reconcile project specifics according to agreements with clients/vendors, internal policies, and HCP ToV requirements.

• Deliver financial and compliance updates to Event Management and Account Managers, pinpointing opportunities to enhance project profitability.

• Complete monthly closing activities, which encompass research, follow-up, and thorough analysis of project data.

• Act as a resource for contract compliance, providing guidance to Account Teams, Event Managers, and Sales teams regarding policy requirements.

• Maintain all necessary documentation for GAAP, internal audits, external audits, and requests from clients for audits.

• Assist in refining SOPs, ensure that SLAs are fulfilled, and may lead internal initiatives or provide support for clients on-site or remotely as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Business, or equivalent experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, compliance, project accounting, or similar corporate financial settings.

• Solid understanding of financial practices, project financials, and HCP ToV guidelines.

• Proficiency in Excel, with the capability to analyze, interpret, and reconcile financial data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask while independently managing moderate to complex projects.

• Capacity to adapt to changing systems, tools, and processes.
