Compliance Officer – Conveyancing, Residential Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and uphold compliance processes and controls related to conveyancing and residential property transactions

• Conduct regular audits and compliance evaluations of both active and completed conveyancing cases

• Perform client due diligence, verification, and AML screening

• Assist in managing conflict of interest checks and risk assessments

• Offer practical compliance advice and training to fee earners

• Help with regulatory reporting and preparation for audits

• Serve as a contact point for compliance-related inquiries

• Significant experience in fee earning or compliance is essential

• Practical understanding of AML regulations

• Experience with client due diligence

• Knowledge of PEP and sanctions screening

• Strong attention to detail

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with case management and document management systems

• Analytical and problem-solving orientation
