Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Execute compliance functions with expertise, managing projects from start to finish and enhancing the maturity and effectiveness of our enterprise compliance program.

• Act as a reliable advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients.

• Recognize, evaluate, and minimize risks throughout the organization.

• Develop dashboards, metrics, and workflows aimed at improving compliance processes.

• Guide junior team members and enhance team capabilities through specialized knowledge and project leadership.

• Articulate expectations across all departments; establish and implement best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; relevant certifications are a plus.

• 5–6 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or regulated environments.

• Strong analytical abilities with a knack for simplifying complex regulatory materials.

• Demonstrated capability to independently manage multiple priorities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance or workflow tools.

• Experience in financial services, mortgage servicing, or regulated sectors is preferred.
