This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Conduct real-time monitoring of all exchange activities, security feeds, and product safety information to detect potential market abuse (such as wash trading, spoofing, etc.) and ensure fair price discovery without manipulation.
• Oversee real-time market data to guarantee participant compliance with margin requirements and position limits.
• Employ surveillance tools and dashboards to identify anomalies and escalate issues as necessary.
• Perform post-trade reviews and forensic examinations of flagged transactions.
• Investigate potential rule violations by gathering testimonies, compiling records, and drafting investigative reports for the Chief Regulatory Officer's review.
• Create comprehensive reports on findings and suggest appropriate actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (such as SEC, CFTC, FINRA, etc.) and internal policies.
• Assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of surveillance protocols and compliance frameworks.
• Support the enforcement of KYC/AML procedures and transaction monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Risk, and Technology teams to enhance surveillance systems and compliance processes.
• Engage with external regulators and industry bodies as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a Juris Doctorate.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Compliance within financial services, or equivalent experience.
• Background in Derivatives or Prediction Markets.
• Experience in traditional finance (Tradfi) or the cryptocurrency space.
• Familiarity with futures markets, commodities, and trading is essential.
• Knowledge of Trade Surveillance Platforms is mandatory.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with market participants, federal regulators, and executive management.
• Understanding of futures exchange operations, trading, risk management, or regulations.
• This role requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
