Compliance Engineer – APAC

📋 Description

• Collaborating with various teams to uphold compliance certifications and frameworks that are pertinent to the APAC region, including ISO 27001 and regional data protection laws like the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) and Singapore's PDPA.

• Contributing to the development of ElevenLabs’ Enterprise solution tailored for regulated sectors in the APAC region, such as Finance, Telecommunications, and Government, with a specific focus on opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

• Creating technical documentation to showcase our compliance to customers across all levels.

• Supporting the sales department by addressing client security inquiries and overseeing compliance-related questions.

• Conducting risk assessments based on CIS or ISO 27000 series frameworks, documenting results, and assisting teams in achieving compliance effectively.

• Improving compliance as code tools to automate monitoring and reporting, while minimizing friction for other teams to maintain compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in performing vendor security assessments and responding to client security questionnaires in regulated sectors across the APAC region, including Government, Defense, and Finance, with a focus on Australia, New Zealand, or Singapore.

• Strong technical proficiency in managing and executing compliance initiatives, with practical experience using compliance management tools (e.g., Vanta).

• Demonstrated ability to sustain and obtain certifications while overseeing audit preparedness and documentation.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, legal) to effectively relay compliance requirements and ensure seamless operations.

• Knowledge of public cloud compliance (AWS, GCP, Azure) and automating compliance workflows in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with integrating compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines to streamline monitoring and reporting processes.
