This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute assessments for third-party due diligence, encompassing risk scoring, screening, verification, and documentation of third-party risk profiles.
• Conduct name screenings against sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and similar lists, facilitating the resolution of positive matches within set deadlines.
• Oversee internal due diligence for medium and high-risk third parties, which includes desktop checks, examining ownership structures, identifying beneficial owners, and conducting site visits when feasible.
• Organize external due diligence questionnaires for high-risk third parties, analyzing responses related to corporate structure, governance controls, human rights protections, ESG data, and compliance declarations.
• Recognize and escalate red flags, including sanctions exposure, bribery and corruption risks, indicators of modern slavery, Zero Connections concerns, and geopolitical risks.
• Maintain the Third-Party Risk Register, ensuring the precise documentation of risk scores, due diligence records, mitigation actions, and schedules for reassessment.
• Conduct monthly compliance reconciliations, which involve sample-based quality checks of completed assessments, verification of scoring accuracy, and adherence to reassessment timelines.
• Assist in identifying training needs across the organization and support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Contribute to process enhancement and automation initiatives, aiming to make compliance processes more efficient and scalable.
• Relevant educational background and certifications (e.g., CFE, CAMS, etc.).
• At least 7 years of experience in conducting due diligence, KYC assessments, or investigations.
• Experience in a corporate compliance program.
• Background in data centers, AI, or related technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of core compliance topics (e.g., COI, ABAC, third-party risk, sanctions).
• Familiarity with compliance and third-party risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Hands-on and proactive attitude, with an interest in developing and enhancing processes.
