Compliance & Data Privacy Specialist – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide support for GDPR and data privacy initiatives throughout the EMEA region.

• Assist in the data mapping process, maintaining Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

• Offer guidance on the lawful processing of personal and health-related data.

• Aid in GDPR training, processes related to data subject rights, international data transfers, and privacy-by-design projects.

• Work collaboratively with Legal, IT, HR, Marketing, Sales, Clinical, and Product teams.

• Support ZOLL's healthcare compliance program in accordance with the AdvaMed and MedTech Europe Codes.

• Advise on compliant interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations.

• Assist in compliance training, risk assessments, and activities aimed at mitigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, Data Management, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

• 2-3+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or a similar field.

• A strong understanding of GDPR, particularly regarding health data, DPIAs, data subject rights, and international transfers.

• Privacy or compliance certification (such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CCEP, etc.) is preferred.

• Experience or a strong interest in medical devices, healthcare compliance, or regulated sectors.
