Associate Director, Ethics & Compliance – Risk Assessment and Monitoring

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a state-of-the-art Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan (RAMP) framework utilizing AI, machine learning, behavioral analysis, and data analytics to proactively detect emerging compliance risks.

• Gather and evaluate data to pinpoint emerging global risks, control deficiencies, fraud, or non-compliance, and produce clear reports and dashboards to guide strategic risk management decisions.

• Develop, implement, and refine a dynamic monitoring framework.

• Ensure timely and high-quality monitoring reports that include executive summaries, root cause analyses, and actionable recommendations.

• Enhance collaboration with external partners to oversee the execution of monitoring initiatives.

• Lead strategy and planning for live monitoring efforts.

• Establish robust processes to guarantee the quality, integrity, and traceability of data utilized in risk assessments.

• Act as the primary compliance liaison for Internal Audit.

• Supervise third-party risk management operations.

• Assist in gap assessment initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Data Science, Law, or a related discipline).

• Over 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, or similar roles within the life sciences industry.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing risk assessment frameworks, preferably using AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
