📋 Description

• Assist our clients in fulfilling their annual IRS reporting obligations by preparing and conducting quality control on IRS Large Form 5500.

• Possess advanced knowledge and the ability to resolve issues related to annual compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b), 415, 402(g), and 416) as required for clients.

• Execute and ensure quality control on advanced client-requested calculations, including Profit Sharing integrated, QNEC, QMAC, and Match contributions, while reviewing plan documents to confirm that provisions have been accurately applied to the calculations.

• Aid the Employer Calculation function by resolving production issues linked to the investment of client-approved calculations, ensuring timely processing.

• Apply interpretations of adoption agreements to facilitate client resolutions.

• Provide support to Client Service teams by promptly addressing client inquiries and offering phone support to enhance client resolution and satisfaction.

• Engage in annual Post Mortem meetings in collaboration with other organizational teams to continuously enhance the Client Experience.

• As a subject matter expert in Compliance Services, review and update training materials for instructor-led courses.

• Ensure the protection, security, and appropriate handling of all confidential data maintained by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access, improper transmission, or unapproved disclosure that could negatively impact Ascensus or our clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of industry experience in a retirement services environment, including compliance testing and familiarity with Form 5500.

• Capability to make sound business decisions while effectively balancing client needs with organizational considerations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet business requirements.

• Consistent demonstration of a strong proactive focus on client service.

• Ability to work with a high degree of independence.

• Capacity to collaborate within a team structure to achieve the common goal of delivering exceptional customer service.

• Knowledge of ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations, as well as plan documents (both individually designed and prototype).
