This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Evaluate and effectively challenge internal responses to consumer complaints and potential operational issues, guiding the team on a diverse range of regulatory requirements, including (but not limited to) credit reporting, disputes, bankruptcy, fair lending, and UDAAP;
β’ Analyze customer complaints to determine root causes, assess trends, and identify opportunities for product and process enhancements to resolve recurring problems;
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and escalate to senior management when necessary;
β’ Assist in metrics reporting and contribute to process improvement initiatives;
β’ Support various key compliance and risk management projects as required.
β’ 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Compliance, Enterprise or Operational Risk, or Audit within a financial services organization, Fintech, or regulatory body;
β’ Inquisitive and proactive in suggesting innovative, effective solutions;
β’ Strong project management, critical thinking, time management, and analytical capabilities;
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to present complex and critical issues;
β’ A strong interest in fintech and consumer financial protections.
