This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with Clients and serve as the primary point of contact for the Shareholder Representative Services’ product after closing.
• Supervise and track an ongoing portfolio of post-closing distribution releases, including the processes for the delivery of cash and/or shares to target holders.
• Conduct thorough reviews of various transactional agreements and legal contracts to extract pertinent legal information and perform detailed analyses to fully comprehend post-closing contractual obligations.
• Spot opportunities for cross-selling additional services offered by SRS Acquiom.
• Handle a substantial volume of email communications and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Work closely with internal teams to establish accurate distribution waterfalls and ensure timely release of funds to the appropriate parties.
• Review and/or draft transactional instructions and any legal compliance documentation necessary for fund transfers.
• Conduct due diligence on post-closing M&A activities.
• Communicate efficiently and promptly with external parties (including C-Suite Executives, former CEOs, CFOs, Venture Capitalists, Major Shareholders, and M&A attorneys) to facilitate or execute the release of escrow funds or holdbacks as per transactional agreements, as well as to provide updates on the status of fund releases.
• Act as the main internal and external contact for inquiries regarding releases and requests for contract interpretation.
• Ensure timely resolution of problems to minimize risk and prioritize necessary actions.
• Responsible for maintaining the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of results.
• Guarantee that high-quality service is consistently provided to Clients.
• Demonstrate and offer expertise in Compliance release matters.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships and inter-departmental collaborations.
• Assist in executing special projects as required.
• Provide training as requested by Management.
• Identify trends that may affect the release process.
• Employ critical thinking and strategic approaches to deliver effective solutions when challenges arise.
• Ensure comprehensive follow-through to resolve any issues that may occur.
• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business, is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to interpret contracts effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong facilitation and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to engage with all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks promptly.
• Takes initiative on issues and follows through to resolution.
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively, depending on the situation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fluid environment.
