This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Prepare, create, and issue policy contracts, amendments, and related documentation as necessary for intricate product structures, adhering to company policies and state regulations.
• Document and uphold the policy issuance process and state availability guidelines for assigned products.
• Support policy automation initiatives, including user acceptance testing of forms and benefit features.
• Aid in maintaining the current forms library and publishing updates for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Track fulfillment status and regularly report on fulfillment activities.
• Execute fulfillment requests promptly and accurately, adhering to established timelines.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and, when applicable, utilize technology to enhance the fulfillment process.
• Work collaboratively with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, and Actuarial teams to provide high-quality insurance products and respond swiftly to product inquiries.
• Evaluate marketing materials/advertisements for compliance and identify any problematic language.
• Draft and file policy forms that reflect underwriting intent and align with regulatory standards.
• Create issue instructions and ensure the approved product is operationally implemented.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and external partners.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited college or university is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the insurance sector, preferably with direct exposure to one or more of the following A&H product lines: Travel, Ancillary Benefits, Stop Loss, Occupational Risk, Travel Medical, Special Risk, Pet, and/or Life Insurance.
• Proven understanding of insurance compliance laws and regulations.
• A&H Travel knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptable and open to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently, managing priorities, and organizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to multitask.
• Skilled in managing conflicts tactfully and effectively.
• Strong analytical, research, and decision-making skills.
