This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
β’ Document internal procedures and assist the compliance team in the development and enhancement of compliance protocols.
β’ Maintain and perform regular reviews of necessary documentation.
β’ Create and uphold a file management system.
β’ Offer administrative support to the compliance department, including managing subawards and ensuring adherence to portfolio and program compliance.
β’ Aid in compliance reporting as needed.
β’ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as investments, finance, and legal to embed compliance measures within portfolio management processes.
β’ Contribute as a member of a compliance team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
β’ Advocate for a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization, enhancing awareness and understanding of compliance responsibilities among staff members.
β’ 1-2+ years of experience in compliance, grants management, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
β’ Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
β’ Familiarity with file management systems and data analytics tools.
β’ Knowledge of applicable federal regulations, including 2 CFR Part 200 and OMB circulars, is preferred.
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant area; advanced certification or degree is preferred.
