Compliance Analyst – 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Perform risk-based compliance monitoring, testing, and documentation for areas including retail banking, lending, HMDA, and operational compliance.

• Ensure the integrity of HMDA LAR data through validation, exception research, remediation tracking, and support for annual submissions.

• Evaluate compliance issues, identify root causes and trends, and propose practical corrective actions.

• Generate workpapers, testing outcomes, compliance metrics, issue summaries, and documentation suitable for management review.

• Collaborate with business lines, Compliance Management, audit teams, and examination stakeholders to share findings and facilitate prompt remediation.

• Aid in regulatory change management by conducting research, impact assessments, updating procedures, and documenting testing and implementation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lending or consumer compliance within a financial institution.

• Familiarity with HMDA LAR validation, support for annual submissions, and compliance monitoring and testing in retail or lending contexts.

• An associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

• Understanding of the consumer loan lifecycle, relevant supporting systems, and consumer lending regulations.

• Capability to interpret laws, regulations, and guidance, applying them to various business scenarios.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, and comfortable using compliance-related systems.
