This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement base pay, variable pay, incentive, and bonus programs.
• Create and uphold salary structures, pay grades, and pay ranges through benchmarking processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of plans, analyze payout trends, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Engage in and assess third-party compensation surveys to evaluate market positioning.
• Perform job evaluations and align positions with external market data.
• Prepare compensation analyses, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Ensure that compensation programs adhere to federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to develop and sustain compensation policies, guidelines, and approval processes.
• Establish governance procedures for promotions, market adjustments, and off-cycle compensation modifications.
• Develop and provide training for managers on the administration of compensation programs.
• Create tools, guidelines, and resources to promote consistent and equitable pay decisions.
• Regularly maintain and update job descriptions through a systematic review cycle.
• Oversee job leveling and the development of career frameworks.
• Create compensation dashboards and reports for leadership evaluation.
• Monitor the effectiveness of compensation programs and suggest enhancements based on data analysis.
• Assist in yearly compensation review processes, including merit, promotion, and equity adjustments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in compensation, including program design and administration.
• High proficiency in HRIS systems along with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Previous experience in a mid-to-large employer environment or HR consulting firm.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
