Community Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-line support for non-technical inquiries submitted by Reddit users.

• Promptly and effectively manage and resolve ticketed support requests from moderators.

• Refer complex issues to the appropriate teams and ensure follow-up for resolution.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements in Reddit’s support processes.

• Keep detailed documentation of support interactions and their resolutions.

• Remain informed about platform updates and community guidelines to provide accurate and timely assistance.

• Propose initiatives to enhance the scalability, efficiency, and overall impact of community support operations, utilizing technology and automation when suitable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a moderator on Reddit.

• Familiarity with Reddit's platform and its community dynamics.

• Experience utilizing customer support, success, and analytics software platforms (knowledge of Zendesk and Salesforce is a plus).

• A strong desire to understand customer needs and to deliver outstanding customer support and experiences.

• Demonstrated experience providing first-line support in a customer service setting.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical abilities with the capability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Experience in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred: Fluency in English and at least one additional European language (German, Spanish, French, or Italian) is a plus.
